purpose instruments such as Oscilloscopes (up to 500MHz), Spectrum Analyzers
(up to 3GHz), Arbitrary Function Generators (up to 80MHz) that are benchmarked for

customers with respect to the price/performance.
Taking the GDS-2000E/GDS-1000B
DSO Series of DSO for example, GW Instek created two powerful waveform processing
platforms both enabled by the XINLINX Zync™ SoC; the GDS-1000B series with MSRP prices starting
at less than US$400 can perform similar or even faster FFT characterizations of
signals than that of many leading brands of DSO with MSRPs much greater (>
US$3000) than GW Instek.
With respect to a “Power
Testing Solution”, GW Instek provides AC Sources, DC Power Supplies and
Electronic Loads with technology which is benched to those of Kikusui and Chroma
to service the market segments of Automotive, LED lighting, Renewable Energy,
DC motor and Switching Power Supply. Currently, GW Instek offers power ratings up
to 1500W; however, GW Instek continues to invests in development at each of its
R&D facilities in Japan and Taiwan and will soon produce instruments with higher
power rating in the very near future.
Presently, GW Instek launches
products that contain premium functionality such as component testing
instruments in Electrical Safety (Hi-Pot - 500VA, 200VA, and 100VA power), LCR Component
Test Meters (from 2K to 300KHz, 1MHz to 10MHz) and Hi resolution Milli-Ohm
meters to service the needs and reinforce the strong presence in the Industrial
market segment.
