Las fuentes de alimentación de CA programables de la serie 9830B proporcionan alto rendimiento y baja distorsión armónica total en un factor de forma de 3U. La adición de voltajes de compensación de CC positivos y negativos amplía las capacidades de CA para operar en modos de acoplamiento de salida de CC y CA+CC. El usuario puede seleccionar formas de onda armónicas integradas y definidas por el usuario o seleccionar entre salidas sinusoidales estándar, cuadradas o sinusoidales recortadas.

La alimentación trifásica se puede lograr conectando 3 unidades del mismo modelo en una configuración maestra y esclava usando los adaptadores de sincronización trifásicos opcionales. El rango de frecuencia es ajustable de 45 a 600 Hz en modo trifásico.
